It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be here in 3 more days. We’ve had power outages due to storms all day long and power has just now been restored. God is so good to take care of simple things like food, shelter and friends. While I have power, I wanted to get on here and share some of the plans for 2025 for this blog.
- The entire website will be getting re-done, but there will be a learning curve. I’ve not created and maintained websites for about 10-15 years. I have a book coming to help me with this project that is to be delivered on Monday, December 30, 2024.
- The website for at least the next year will be hosted on GoDaddy, but I will be using WordPress to create the website and upload it from a local directory. For those non-techy friends on here, that means that I will always have a backup of the website and publishing directly from my computer to their system. Hopefully that also means that when I get things up and running with WordPress, we can modify some of the registration aspects of the website to have more comments and interaction.
- Starting on January 1, 2025 we will be starting a long-term Bible study of individual women in the Bible. As I posted on Christmas Eve, we will be looking at the stories and texts about specific women to see what we learn about God through their story. The length of time spent on individual women will depend upon the woman. Some women in the Bible are only mentioned once or twice, while others have very long stories and significance to our Christian walk.
- We will begin our study on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 with Eve – the Mother of all (humans).
