God’s love letter – the Bible – is filled with words that are pure and holy. God is my protection against every evil intention in this world. That doesn’t mean that I will never experience trials or even death. However, He will walk with me through whatever happens. He will never leave me alone. His promises are sure.
Sometimes I may have difficulty understanding a particular verse in the Bible; however, because I know that God’s Word is true and pure, I need to ask God to send the Holy Spirit to help me understand what seems confusing. I need to look to God for explanations rather than human beings. Do not look to me or any other human being for an explanation of any scripture. Only look to God and the Holy Spirit for understanding. We are told to search the scriptures (John 5:39) because that is the same as opening a window or door to God’s presence where all things can be made plain.
