God Is With Me

“He grants the barren woman a home,
Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD! ” Psalm 113:9 (NKJV)

Psalm 113 is a song of praise to the Lord. God is credited with making sure that women who are unable to bear children have a home, even similar to the women who have joy because of the children they have borne.

Praise the Lord because no matter what my circumstances are today or tomorrow, He will take care of me. Does that mean I won’t ever experience want or needs? No. God is not a prosperity sugar daddy. How can I understand this verse, especially in these last days of earth’s history?
No matter my current circumstances, I can have peace and confidence in knowing that when I accept Jesus as my personal Savior, I am a child of the King of the Universe. God sustains the good and the bad people. Without God’s continued source of the breath of life no one would exist.

God is the ultimate father – and just as good earthly parents would do anything in their power to take care of their children, our Almighty, All-Powerful Heavenly Father has no limitations on what He can do for us. The only limitation is our lack of trust in Him.

When the judgment day arrives, I can know without a doubt that my Heavenly Father who keeps a record of the events that happen on this earth, will make everything right, fair, and just. I can trust Him to do what is right because that is who He is.

Listen to the Afters as they sing “God Is With Us.”
